We’ve identified 4 levels of engagement for community members in Tarrant County. Each level of engagement is crucial for change! Here you can do self-assessment and decide what level of engagement you are at. There’s a multitude of variables that impact community members level of engagement.
The key is to commit to the level of engagement you are at today.
Awareness
You are informed and aware of the work and issues in Tarrant County via Tarrant4Change and other organizations in thec ommunity! You follow and engage with Tarrant County orgs on social media, newsletters, etc.
Contributor
You act on call-to-actions in your community at the school district, city, and county level. You are engaged on the ground and show up to community events like school board meetings, county commissioner court, protests, forums, etc.
Organizer
You are an organizer who is actively involved with any org, initiative, and/or movement within Tarrant County. You’re in the Slack space and collaborate with other organizers. You show up regularly and consistently to community events and collaboration team meetings.
Collaboration Team Lead
You are the lead organizer for Collaboration Teams. You are helping and developing community strategic plans, building relationships with organizers, creating community events, and more. You lead collaboration team meetings and show up consistently for other organizers.

The Collaboration team is a group of organizers who meet regularly to collaborate for community driven actions and solutions for systemic and inclusive change.
We currently have Collaboration Teams in Arlington, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, and Grapevine-Colleyville. We are expanding into Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, and more!
Who is on a Collaboration Team?
Any local organizer representing or developing various movements, initiatives, and/or organizations in Tarrant County.
How do I join a Collaboration Team?
